The Story Behind Cup of Cake
Some of the best things in life happen completely by accident.
Cup of Cake was born from one such happy mistake, when a friend of mine accidentally blended two familiar sayings — “a piece of cake” and “a cup of tea.” The result? Cup of Cake.
I instantly fell in love with this little word-baby. It was playful, unexpected, and somehow just felt right.
Cup of Cake is my little sister brand to Caotica, created for things made slowly, personally, and with my own two hands. It’s a space for handmade pieces, small creations, and objects made with care – the kind of things that carry a little bit of their maker with them.
Because sometimes, the sweetest ideas are the ones that happen by mistake.
